How to naturally treat tissue damage with the resulting swelling and pain will be the focus of this post. I had the opportunity to try these methods on my own tissue damage acquired after my ladder fell dumping me on a fence.

Causes of Tissue Damage

Tissue Damage can be caused by falls or getting hit with an object. Of course, getting shot, cut or bit can cause tissue damage, but for this post, I will not focus on treating open wounds. This will be about naturally treating the bruising, swelling, and pain caused by blunt force. In my case, I fell off a ladder and landed on a wire fence hanging by my left leg. You can read about my fall in this post. Unstable Ladder Causes My Fall

Treat Tissue Damage With Ice

Whenever there is a blunt-force injury, first apply pressure to stop the internal bleeding, and as soon as possible apply ice in a wet towel over the tissue damage. As a result, the ice will slow the swelling and decrease the pain. Pain may increase initially if the tissue gets too cold. Just remove the ice for a few minutes and then put it back on.

IbuActin

Naturally Treat Inflammation and Pain

The go-to anti-inflammatory drug is Ibuprofen.  This is your typical drug with side effects of headaches, feeling dizzy, feeling sick (nausea), being sick (vomiting), gas, and indigestion. No thank you.

I would rather go to my health food store and ask what they have for inflammation. They recommend ibuActin which is a spin-off of Ibuprofen. It is made of natural ingredients and there are no side effects. Here is one link where you can get it or do your own search. Extra Strength ibuActin I am not an affiliate. The ingredients are hops, turmeric, bromelain, white willow, papain, and ginger. I wish I was an affiliate. This is a great product and without it, I doubt if I could have slept at night.

Joint Salvation

Treat Bruising and Pain Naturally

Arnica is great for treating bruising, muscle aches, joint pain, and wound healing. Birch is good for joint pain, and poplar is good for wound healing. Therefore, all of them were combined in the Joint Salvation ointment that I had on hand when I got hurt. I used this ointment the first week that I was hurt.

After a week, I remembered the sample that I was given of an arnica ointment at my health food store. I used it on my face after my cat jumped on my face. It was great for the pain and bruising. About a month later, my cat, Rory, ran up my face, so I was using it again and used it all up. I made a special trip to the health food store to buy some. I found out that it was CBD Arnica Cream. Shockingly, it cost $45.00, but it was worth it.

Below are the videos that I made of the two cat injuries.

iTeracare  for Tissue Damage

On Tuesday, August 9, I was hurt. I was reminded by a friend to use my iTeracare blower on my injury. Consequently, Saturday, August 13, 2022, I started to use it on my tissue damage. The iTeracare blower uses terahertz waves that are similar to the rays of the sun. They help with circulation and would be perfect for tissue damage. I got my blower at the beginning of the year and already saw it work on a yellow jacket sting on my foot. Lazily, I left it untreated and after a couple of days, it swelled up and was painful. Inflammation and pain decreased with the use of the blower.

My recent injury was so painful to the touch, that I had to be careful not to get it too hot.  I started out doing 30 minutes at a time and then went to 15 minutes twice a day. When you are injured, you can dedicate this extra time to healing. Between the blower and the arnica, the swelling and bruising went down fast. As I got so I could get up and walk around more, I didn’t always take the time to use the blower.

Hardened  Tissue Damage

When the bruising and swelling were gone, there was still a long area of hardened tissue painful tissue to deal with. I used the CBD Arnica with gentle cross-friction massage and the iTeracare blower. Finally, that went away. Sometimes I would get nerve pain if my knee was bent while I was driving or if I was kneeling to pray. I would use the blower and it seemed that it aggravated the nerves. So, I would rest it for a few days.

Healing Nerve Damage

After making the video of my progress, I used the blower, and then my leg actually itched for a few days. As a result, I let it rest for a few days. I remembered that that is a good sign of healing.  In short, I can say as of today, Thursday, 12/15/22, my leg has no more numbness and it doesn’t hurt to bend it. If I press along the area of the injury, there is only a small place of nerve pain.  It has been eighteen weeks. All in all, I have noticed that the nerve damage has taken the longest to heal.

Watch the Video

Rather than show you the progress photos here on the blog, you can just watch the video to see the dates and the healing journey. If you are interested to learn more about the iTeracare blower and to purchase one from me, you can let me know in the comments below this blog post. It has many surprising uses. I got an annoying crackling in my ear and I used the blower on it two times and it was totally gone. It is not a cure-all, but it has its place in naturally supporting the body to heal itself.  Time to watch the video.
